Printing, Cutting, Binding

Last week, we started learning how to print the magazines we have been working on. We did some test prints, and then once we made revisions and were satisfied with our magazines, we published them on nice, sturdy paper. I printed five total magazines. After we were taught how to print, we learned how to bind the magazines. To bind the magazines, fold them as evenly as possible, then staple the seam. After you are done stapling, you move on to cutting. We used a laser-type machine to ensure we got the perfect cut possible. This process was intense, and I was so scared of messing up. But honestly, after the whole process, I think the “hardest” part was the printing. It is a great feeling having our magazines done and printed. I am so excited to show them to family and friends.
