This weekend has been crazy. I live in Brandon, SD, but I learned this weekend that my family will be moving 10 minutes away onto a 10-acre land. The house on the property is essentially two houses, one “apartment” upstairs and one “apartment” downstairs. I initially planned on moving out after college this year; however, now that this property has been presented and my family is willing to let me live in the house’s basement as if it were my apartment, I can’t pass this opportunity up. I have never lived on a farm before and am very excited to embark on this new adventure.
My mom also got engaged this weekend! This weekend has been surreal, and I am very excited about all these changes this summer.
