February Book Recap

I read nine books in February! This is a new monthly record for me, and I am proud of myself!

Books I read this month are:

  1. Famine by Laura Thalassa
  2. Death by Laura Thalassa
  3. Crescent City: House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J. Maas
  4. Immortal Longings by Chloe Gong
  5. Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross
  6. The Crow Lord by J.M. Failde
  7. A Deal with the Elf King by Elise Kova
  8. Bride by Ali Hazelwoof
  9. Sanctuary of the Shadow by Aurora Ascher

My favorite book of the month was The Crow Lord. This book is about a human girl who runs away from her Vampire capture only to then get taken by the Crow Lord, who is also a vampire. However, he is not the monster he is made out to be, and of course, they fall in love. I loved this book, from the characters to the plot and plot twists.

My least favorite of this month was Immortal Longings. I thought I would love this book based on the summary on the back. However, this book just did not do it for me. I didn’t love how long the chapters were. It felt like they dragged on for a long time. I also didn’t love how there was no definite description of any of the characters, making it hard to connect with them. The one thing I liked about this book was the plot twist at the end.
